The Cleft and Craniofacial Centre is the first of such integrated centres in Southeast Asia. Having adopted a multi-disciplinary approach, it houses surgeons, orthodontists, speech language therapists and psychologists all under one roof - treating the child holistically, from his or her physical being to mental being as a result of a related condition. The Centre provides services such as cleft lip and palate surgery, craniofacial surgery, distraction osteogenesis, reconstructive microsurgery, and reconstruction for congenital deformities.
The Centre is also listed with the prestigious American Cleft Palate-Craniofacial Association.

The Department Paediatric Surgery provides complete cover for all elective and emergency surgery in children from birth to 16 years of age. Our total surgeries average over 4,000 surgeries every year.
With minimally invasive surgery (MIS) techniques getting prevalent in the last 10 years, and with our surgeons attaining full-fledged training in this area, MIS is now used in both diagnostic and therapeutic laparascopic procedures. Not only does MIS procedures reduce the hospital stay for our young patients, they also get to return quickly back to their normal routine since MIS has significant benefits in decreasing post-operative pain.

As one of Southeast Asia's largest children's cancer centre, the Children's Cancer Centre at KKH treats 70% of childhood cancers in Singapore. The Centre is also equipped with pheresis facilities to support stem cell transplant in cancer treatment. The Centre's cure rates for Acute Lymphoblastic Leukaemia (ALL), which occurs for about 40% of all childhood cancers, is comparable to cure rates achieved in leading centers in the world.
Having equipped with a dedicated oncology pharmacy at the Centre also allows for drug dispensing for outpatients without having them joining any queues at the main pharmacy. The Centre also adopts a child-friendly approach and understands that children will always be children, hence adopting a "zero-pain policy" - nurses or clinicians will ensure that children are sedated to ensure that there is no pain if an invasive surgery is required.
